BCBA Clinical Director Careers at Action Behavior Centers

What makes ABC different

BCBA Clinical Directors manage a caseload of up to three children to allow for a deeper clinical mentor focus. You’ll guide your center’s clinical programs, facilitate Family Guidance sessions, mentor Rising Star and BCBA teammates, help with complex clinical programming, and ensure high-quality training and compliance for the teammates you lead.

BCBA Clinical Directors at Action Behavior are trusted leaders in behavior analysis with a compassionate care approach. We offer structured pathways for determined clinicians who then want to rise to Group Clinical Director, Regional Clinical Director, and Market Leader levels. Our leaders are grown from within and supported every step of the way.

You're never on your own as a BCBA Clinical Director. Our council of clinical leaders, including Dr. Mintz, Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Hanley, and Dr. LeBlanc, offers mentorship, continuing education opportunities, and the support you need to grow with confidence. Our Authorizations team helps with teammate certifications, and our Clinical Quality Specialist team evaluates and continuously improves our clinical processes.

Through our Citizenship Program, BCBA Clinical Directors can earn ownership in the company through long term financial incentives and help shape ABC’s strategic direction.

We offer a highly competitive compensation model for BCBA Clinical Directors, including monthly performance incentives, student loan repayment, tuition discounts, CEU reimbursement, 401K matching, industry-leading salaries, and paid parental leave through return bonuses and short-term disability benefits.

We partner with like-minded companies like Calm, DailyPay, and DoorDash to support our BCBA Clinical Directors’ physical and mental health. Every month, our Restore Program grants paid vacations to teammates who go above and beyond.

FAQs
What is the difference between a BCBA and a BCBA Clinical Director at ABC?
While BCBAs focus on direct clinical case management, BCBA Clinical Directors lead teams, oversee clinical quality, mentor ABA therapists, and collaborate on strategy with leadership and operational partners.
What’s the leadership growth path for BCBAs at ABC?
We offer a clear clinical ladder, from Clinical Director to Market Leader, with structured promotions and increased financial incentives based on performance and organizational needs.
Do BCBA Clinical Directors work directly with children and families?
Yes! Our BCBA Directors are clinical leaders, not desk-bound managers. You'll be involved in child assessments, treatment planning, and Family Guidance sessions while also leading and mentoring your team.
What differentiates an ABC BCBA Clinical Director?
ABC Clinical Directors enjoy a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including competitive pay, attainable performance-based monthly bonuses, ownership interest in the company, and a vibrant culture rooted in our five core values. Benefits also include up to 10 complimentary in-house CEUs per year, generous guilt-free paid time off, dedicated CEU PTO, up to 90% employer-paid health insurance, and no non-compete agreements.
